Just saw these shoes on the always amazing Luxirare. Does anyone know anything more about them? Here’s what I’ve got so far; they’re amazing.
Is it blasphemy to post these on a Sunday? I think the big man would like them.

Love these pics of Mallory June by Ruven Afanador… especially ‘cus she bears a striking resemblance to the bastard love child of Gareth Pugh and Sonia Rykiel which basically won us the Fashionable Pub Quiz last night… click.
I’m currently in the process of crafting the most comprehensive Dad Rock U Rock playlist for Spotify. I don’t know why I haven’t got round to it before now; dad rock is the musical genre I’ve been obsessed with the longest for defs. Childhood mems definitely have a soundtrack of Hawkwind and Toto so it’s about time I got round to it. Trouble is, time is of the essence these depressing days. Anyway, kind of on the subject, I forgot how amazing the Heart//Little Queen album cover is until today when I was adding it to my list. That gypsy look was total dressing up/school holiday joy. Wish I had a big silver hand mirror. Wish my hair looked like either Ann or Nancy’s too.
It’s quite hard to find pictures of them without mega 80s mullets, but look how sexy they are here:
I wish I could carry off feathered hair and a fringe SO BAD.
Oooh the Prada SS10 lookbook is like the stuff of dreeeeams. Love those shoes towering over the pathetic non-Prada wearers on the beach, love the rainbows, love that hair. I was wearing Prada pigtails quite a bit before my last cut; they’re easy and they look good when you haven’t washed your hair for a week. What more do you want from a look? Nothing. Exactly.

Christ on a bike, how did this escape my notice until now??
Regular readers may well be aware of my passion for darts (or more accurately, Bobby George) so I’m astounded this has remained off my radar. What a treat. What a fucking legend. Here I am with the man himself some years ago — ‘scuse the face, I was only at bloody Lakeside drinking a few pints;
PS In a moment of confusion, I Googled ‘Barry George Cash For Gold’. Who knew that Jill Dando’s murderer hasn’t been in any adverts? He’d be a good face for any brand.
This Lisa Shepherd image haunts my days. Whenever we use it in one of the mags or it floats past my desk I fall in love a little bit more. I want this hair above and beyond any other style I have ever posted in my entire life, I swears. Alas, being a grown-up, even a grown-up who works in hair, it’s not gonna happen.
Lisa Shepherd also happens to be one of the best, nicest, funnest hairdressers ever so you should totes check her out if you’re in the West Midlands. I’ve seen her doing stage shows before and she’s just a legend. Top gal!
How cute is this ring from Digby & Iona? I know, I know, it’s been featured everywhere this weekend but I just wanted to add my appreciation. In case you missed it, the idea is you get it personalised with the initials of your beloved… cute. Only problem is that it’s silver. Ho hum.
Lord knows I love my Snuggie but even as I sit here under it, arms free to do what they will, body warm, I can’t help but think how tea-stained, fluffy and generally ugly it is. If I had a leopard or zebra one, life might be different but beggars (ie press) can’t be choosers (ie fussy about freebies).
In a dream world, I’d be ensconced in warmth beneath this Damien Hirst New Religion blanket, but at £975 I’d be pretty gutted if I spilt half a can of Lowenbrau down it, as is my wont.
Last night I went to the Popcorn Comedy 1st birthday party. The lineup included Graham Linehan and Adam Buxton and if you know me but at all you’ll understand that those two are enough to sell any event to me. Count Buckules was excellent, as was Doc Brown and all the video shorts that they previewed. However… Graham, Graham, Graham.
I love this man so much and his set last night just attested to it. His performance consisted of him, a mac book and some beer. He went through You Tube and played his favourite lol videos. Again, if you know me but at all, you’ll know that pretty much sums up my ideal night in so to be enjoying it in an outdoor arena with the accompaniment of Louis Theroux… Ace.
I like to think of myself of as the Internet Oracle, second only to Iso’s boyfriend Moonface, but shit, I was wrong. One of Graham’s favourite videos was the Super Broker Shuffle. An alleged Internet phenomenon that I HAVE NEVER SEEN. I feel ashamed, but it’s OK, now I’m up to speed. You’ll probably think I’m incredibly old fashioned because clearly the entire planet knows about it already, but here it is again for anyone else that might have missed it;
There are no words, I know. Except, perhaps, ‘spoof’?
Alright, that’s all for this Saturday. Happy weekending!
