I know I harp on about 200 Cigarettes all the time, but this isn’t a post about the film – it’s about the soundtrack.
I saw the film about ten times before I found out that Devo were responsible for the score – which some more highbrow critics might argue is the best thing about it. In keeping with the 80s storyline, the soundtrack Β is firmly cemented in the era but still manages to reflect the varied tastes of the characters – so you’ve got punk, disco, funk and some full-bodied cheese too.
Anyway – I’ve been meaning to compile the soundtrack in one handy place for a while, so here it is.
