[Danny Zuko strutting pics: Leave me the White]
An R-emblazoned varsity jacket is the holy grail of vintage for me. In the 15 years or so that I’ve been shopping for vintage clothes, it’s pretty much always been something I’ve been looking for.
I mean, SURE, I’ve found jackets with Rs on. But the R isn’t the only thing, is it? It’s also got to be the perfect colour, texture, shape and size. And those stars haven’t aligned for me just yet, sadly.
My luck might be about to change though because this Wednesday my favourite high street shop, Whistles, is celebrating Vogue Fashion’s Night Out with a whole evening of varsity jacket fun.
Part of their new Limited Edition collection, the Kirsten Varsity Jacket is launching on the day and if you go along to their South Molton Street store in central London, you can have your initials sewn on right there in front of you. YES WAY.
Find out more about the event on the Whistles Facebook page here!
