Run, don’t walk: Outnet clearance sale is live now

The Outnet always has pretty spectacular clearance sales and their new one is no different, with up to 85% off already-discounted designer goods. Brands up for grabs include Alexander Wang by the bucketload, Chloe and D&G and the discounts aren’t just on old tut either – there’s all sorts of awesome pieces including a fair few bits to help you get a head-start on AW12 trends.

I know, I know. We’ve not even had summer yet and you want to prance around in your pastels still, but you can’t help but get excited about goth stuff and Wang boots, can you?

My picks below, shop the sale for five more days here!

This Halston Velour Mini Dress, £249 has a bit of a leopard-y detail running through it, ideal for all the Christopher Kaniacs out there.

Something about the high-neck and cut-outs on this HMH Couture Twisted Jersey Dress, £48 feel a bit 60s, just like Prada’s psychedelic bonanza.

No-one does modern military better than Alexander Wang and this Alexander Wang Asymmetric Wrap-Effect Skirt, £59.25 and Alexander Wang Claudia Ankle Boots, £101 combo feels as fresh now as it did first time around. Those shoes!

There’s something a bit All Saints (the band) about this Surface to Air Sympa Maxi Dress, £33, but then if you’re channelling the military look… who better to emulate?

Nothing sexier than a bit of black crochet and this Pringle of Scotland Cutout wool and Silk Dress, £179.25 is a much more sophisticated way of doing it than a vest you bought in Newquay six years ago.

You’ve got to have sexy underwear if you want to do Fashion Goth as opposed to City Hall Steps Goth – this La Perla Noir Soft-Cup Triangle Bra, £36.60 is a thing of beauty.

Stompy boots are another necessity and these Messeca Morgan Platform Boots, £36 are a much more sophisticated option than Rockports.

This Robert Rodriguez Beaded Chiffon and Brushed-Silk Dress, £113 is a beaut and more wearable for day-to-day than a cape, majestic as that D&G one might be.

Velvet is my own personal nightmare but if I was to lose all sense of touch, this Halston Embellished Velour Dress, £434.25 would be my first port of call. Love the embellishment too.
