Thank Furcoat it’s Friday

1) This weekend is the biggest weekend of the year in my job; Salon International weekend. Or, 72 hours of hairdressing fun all under one roof. In keeping with the theme, don’t miss the free Vidal Sassoon: Outtakes exhibition at Somerset House which pays tribute to the late, great man with some fantastic photography, artwork and films. If you saw the film last year, you’ll know how good this is going to be. More info here! [Picture: Somerset House]

2) Christopher Walken reads Honey Boo Boo.

3) Really enjoyed Kris Atomic’s fashion week coverage, obv, but I especially enjoyed her real-talk look at what it’s like to tramp around the shows. Here! [And of course the picture belongs to Kris]

4) Hey cool! A new gallery for Sheffield. The Made North Gallery at the Yorkshire Artspace is now open, kicking off with an exhibition in collaboration with the Design Council and their Design Fund for Growth.  It’s about time  Sheffield got a cool new art space so I’m looking forward to checking this out later on in the year when I next have time to get home. And that’s your lot today. Salon International looms heavy on my mind – happy weekend!
